I am one with nature and I look within for life’s answers. I am God of my own

   This is a "New Age" deception which has permeated our society in varying forms.  There is only one God and He dwells in the heavens. "Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is non else” (Isaiah 45:22).  Have you ever created a cat, rock, planet, or galaxy.  The answer is obvious!  You are not a god and have fell for the age old lie of Satan when he deceived Eve in the Garden of Eden.  He told Eve "Ye shall be as gods,” (Genesis 3:5) and this old deception has a new face today.  Satan comes as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:4) and wants to destroy you (1 Peter 5:8).  This worship of nature, earth and yourself is an abomination to a Holy God (Romans 1:21-25).

   This thinking that God is everything and everyone is an old pagan belief called "Pantheism". It professes that one must look within to find yourself based on life’s experiences.  You are told you are evolving harmoniously into a "New Age".  It holds to many philosophies of reincarnation and Zen Buddhism.  The Bible says, "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment” (Hebrews 9:27).  You will not come back in some other form.  On the day you die your destiny is sealed based on your rejection and acceptance of the Lord Jesus Christ.  "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, where we can be saved” (Acts 4:12).  Mother earth, your horoscope, or a sweat lodge can’t save you, nor some "spirit in the sky" or force within!  You must not look within to find the purpose of life and its spiritual answers. The Bible says not to trust in yourself, riches, and kings (Proverbs 3:5, 2 Corinthians 1:9, Psalms 118:8-9, 1 Timothy 6:17).  "There is a way which seems right unto a man, but the end therefore the ways of death” (Proverbs14:12). 

   You must look outwardly to Jesus Christ and cry out to Him (Romans 10:13) as you are a sinner and broken His laws (Romans 3:23). He will then dwell within after you repent and believe the Gospel. The Holy Spirit of God will then teach, lead and guide you unto all truth (John 16:8-15, 14:26). "And to you who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:” (2 Thessalonians 1:7-8).  God loves you and desires that you partake of his saving truth.  He considers you His child and wants you to trust Him.
