What about Astrology, Channeling, Tarot cards, Psychics, Yoga, Meditation,

   They are all diversions of Satan and lead you away from God and His Truth.  You can even be empowered to some degree, but it is a deception.  What appears to be light is darkness and death. "And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light” (2 Corinthians 11:14).  He destroys through these deceptions.  "Be sober, be vigilant; because the adversary the Devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour;” (1 Peter 5:8).  Jesus is the only way! He said, "I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out and find pasture” (John10:9).  Jesus is the door to Eternal Life, but unfortunately people try to find other ways. "Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many there be which go in there at: (Matthew 7:13). "Many people experiment with occult practices. Some do it for fun, but many with a sincere belief that they will find answers to life’s spiritual questions.  Many see lifeless churches filled with hypocrisy where Christ is a mere symbol.  Some have been severely hurt or wounded in a physical or emotional way and blame God or Christianity in general.

    No matter your reason, purpose, or intent we must look at how God views these various practices and realize that in Christ is the only “Life”.  "When you are once into the land which the Lord thy God gives you, you shall not learn to do after the abominations of those nations. There shall not be found among you any one that makes his son or daughter pass through the fire, or that uses divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter or a witch, or a charmer, or a consulate with familiar sprits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord: and because of these abominations the Lord your God will drive them out before you” (Deuteronomy 18:9-12). Jesus is the only way (John 14:6)!  Pray and cry out to God for truth and He will reveal Himself to you.
