What is wrong with Pre-marital Sex? Shouldn’t we love one another?

   There are 5 kinds of love spoken of in the Bible.  You must not confuse the "agape" love that God says we are to have for one another with the physical and sexual love meant by the words "Eros and Epithumia".  God is very plain in regards to sex before marriage.  He calls it fornication and those involved in such will not inherit the kingdom of God. “Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators [pre-marital sex], nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God” (1 Corinthians 6:9-10).

    Many have been inundated with and desensitized to the acceptability of pre-marital and extra-marital sex by Hollyweird, television, music, radio, magazines, internet porn, secular educational community and Planned Parenthood.  This will never negate God’s Word and standards, "Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication (pre-marital sex), uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: For which things sake the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience (Colossians 3:5).  Not only does one face the spiritual consequences but also the physical ones such as Sexually Transmitted Disease’s, Aids and unwanted pregnancies which could lead to an abortion.

    The sexual union is to be reserved for that one partner in marriage which is to be for life.  Whenever you engage in pre-marital sex other spiritual ramifications take place.  You have become part of that person and their problems (spiritual realm) because of that physical union (soul tie).  You also cheapen the marriage bed and this breeds mistrust among couples who have had other partners.  The mind can fabicate "ghost partners" or those you had sex with in the past while enjoying intimacy with the one you are with creating a breach of relationship.  The seeds of adultery and divorce are bred in these pre-marital escapades done in the name of love.  Our divorce rate is soaring because we have eliminated the Godly standard from life.  Repent and become a "Born Again" virgin. (See Ephesians 5:3-5, Galatians 5:19-21). 

IMPORTANT NOTE:  I have had numerous students in schools and campuses indicate to me that the person they were engaging in sex with is the one they were to marry.  Then a year or less later they were involved with another individual.  Do not be deceived by self justification or talked into sex by your boyfriend or girlfriend using this excuse.
